Members: Photo Policy

All members of the Coffee Club of Seattle are required to have a photo for their profile. Our experience has discovered that members that do not upload a photo almost never honor their RSVPs. Since many of our events have limited slots and often have Waiting Lists, having a photo is required.

Any photo will do. Ideally, it would be a current photo of yourself. The Coffee Club is a social group and having a portrait photo will increase the chances that other members will remember your name and establish friendships. There are legitimate privacy reasons for not using a real photo, so you are free to use whatever picture you want, but it is highly recommended that you use a real photo of yourself.

If you join this group and then remove your photo, you will be removed from the group. You are always free to rejoin the group.

Road Trips

For the safety of the members and drivers, all members signed up for Road Trip events must use a real clearly identifiable photo and their real name. Those that don't will be removed from the event at the discretion of the event host.

Groups that allow the blank question mark profiles tend to get much lower turnouts.

Organizers and Assistant Organizers

The leadership team is required to have a real profile photo that allows new members to find them easily.
